Take a seat until picked to play. Feel free to warm up on a free court, but be prepared to be kicked off when games start!
Just a few pointers:
It is your responsibility to add your name/peg to the waiting list at the end of your game.
Please don't be offended if you are overlooked for a game on the odd occasion in order to make games balanced and enjoyable.
Likewise be conscious of your fellow players and ensure everyone has an equal time on court, especially new players who may not know who best to pick.
No-one likes an unbalanced game - please don't be afraid of asking more experienced players for informal coaching if you would like to be stretched, but at the same time please don't be offended if you are asked to choose a more balanced game if the pairings are wildly incompatible.
Choosing games is always always the biggest point of contention at any badminton club. Above all else please be kind and considerate to your fellow players.
